The Regional Digital Hub (Pôle Régional Numérique, or PRN), a cluster of enterprises and technologies for the ICT sector was given its designation by central government and recognised as an enterprise cluster by DATAR (Department of Regional Planning and Office of the Prime Minister). Its role is to help the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region to become a European leader in digital technologies.

The PRN has a dense network of more than 330 regional companies and a dynamic action plan based on five key strands:


  • Commercial development
  • Human Capital
  • Financing
  • Innovation
  • International dimension



Its role also includes encouraging the emergence of innovative start-ups as well as financial support and the establishment of these companies in the region, while marketing Nord Pas-de-Calais as a location for innovation and excellence in digital technologies.
